How a tile & grout job runs

Why scrubbing has not worked, and what actually does.

  1. STEP 01

    Measure the area

    Square footage sets the tier. Three published tiers rather than one headline rate and a hidden minimum.

  2. STEP 02

    Identify scale versus soil

    Bonded mineral scale and ordinary soil look similar and need completely different chemistry. Getting this wrong is why home attempts fail.

  3. STEP 03

    Acid treatment on scale

    Bonded deposit on shower walls, pans and thresholds treated chemically rather than abraded.

  4. STEP 04

    High-pressure hot extraction

    Grout lines cleaned at pressure and the residue extracted rather than pushed into the next line.

  5. STEP 05

    Neutralise and dry

    Surfaces neutralised so nothing keeps working after the job ends, then dried down before we hand the floor back.

  6. STEP 06

    Walk it with you

    We show you what came back and what did not. Grout that is cracked, missing or crumbling is a repair rather than a cleaning, and we will say so on the day.
