Questions about the company

If yours isn't here, call — it's a person, not a queue. Questions about a specific service are answered on that service's own FAQ.

How can you price it without seeing the place?

Because the estimate is built from what the job actually takes — area, room or pane count, condition, how far behind it is — rather than from a guess. Where condition drives the number more than size does, like a neglected tile floor or a badly stained driveway, we ask for photos first instead of quoting blind and renegotiating on the day.

Can you do more than one thing in the same visit?

That is the point of the whole company. One crew, one trip, one invoice — the driveway, the carpets, the glass, the shower scale and the punch list, without four vendors and four scheduling conversations. Ask on the walkthrough and it gets added then; you are not assembling it in advance and hoping the day works out.

Why is this more than the calculator I found online?

National calculators price national conditions. Las Vegas has the hardest municipal water of any major US city and desert silica that settles two to three times faster than in humid climates. That is not a talking point — it is bonded mineral on glass and tile, and abrasive grit down in carpet pile, both of which take real extra time. Quoting national job times here is how a company underbids and then rushes your property.

Do I need to be home?

No, and most clients aren't. Lockbox, gate code, smart lock or key handoff all work — tell us in the notes. Exterior work needs nothing from you but access to a spigot. The photo report is how you see what happened without being there.

Will it be the same person every time?

Yes. The same standard, the same checklist and the same photo record every visit, and one point of contact who knows the property — you call the person who quotes it, not a dispatch queue. Today that is the owner doing the work. As the company adds people the standard and the contact stay put; that is the part being promised.

What if it isn't right?

Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it, free, no argument. The redo and what caused it both go in the record — that is how the miss does not repeat.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Everything, on every lane — the washer and surface cleaner, the extractor, the poles and ladders, and the acid products that hard-water scale actually needs. For exterior work a standard outdoor spigot is all we need from you; if the property has no accessible water, say so when you book and we bring a tank.

When do I pay, and is there a deposit?

Payment on completion, with a card on file — no deposit on a standard visit, one-time or recurring. The heavy scopes do take a 35% deposit to hold the date: deep cleans, move-in and move-out detail, final cleans once work is done, short-term rental turnovers, and any job over $600. Those book the crew for the whole day, so the day has to be held. Reschedule free with 48 hours' notice — inside that it is 50% of the visit, because the crew's day is already committed.

Am I locked into a contract?

Not on residential recurring — nothing to sign, skip or stop with 48 hours' notice. Commercial janitorial and recurring exterior contracts are real agreements, because the schedule, inspections and consequences need to be written down. Recurring rates get reviewed annually; we tell you before, not with an invoice.

Are you licensed and insured?

Atom Cleaning LLC holds City of Las Vegas business license G74-04778, with a home occupation permit and Nevada state registration. General liability binds before the first job — if you need the certificate in hand before you'll schedule, say so and it will be in place first. We can name you as additional insured if your vendor process needs it.

What maintenance can you actually do?

Bulbs, HVAC filters and detector batteries. Screens rescreened or repaired. Blinds cleaned and rehung. Minor drywall patching, caulking and weatherstripping. Doors adjusted, strike plates, cabinet hardware, towel bars, house numbers, mailboxes, furniture assembly. It bills on its own line group, separate from the cleaning, and the maintenance total on any one job stays under the exemption limit — past that it becomes a second visit rather than a bigger invoice.

What will you not touch?

Anything electrical, plumbing, HVAC or gas — outlets, switches, hardwired fixtures, ceiling fans, faucets, valves, supply lines, drains, water heaters, disposals — and anything needing a permit. Atom Cleaning LLC is a licensed cleaning and repair-and-maintenance business, not a licensed contractor, so that is a licensing boundary rather than a capability one. We flag it in writing and refer it out. Also no demolition, no debris hauling, no biohazard or mould remediation, no vehicle detailing, and nothing that needs climbing past what is safe.

Do you paint too?

No. We are a cleaning company and painting is not something we take on. On a turn, or on a unit having its final clean once the work is done, we will happily work alongside whoever is painting it, and we would rather say so than take the job and subcontract it behind your back.
